New Legacy Partnership Program for Community Foundations!

The Legacy Partnership approach to building endowments is a process that leaves little to chance. It is a well disciplined program to become deeply involved with charitable organizations in all aspects as they work with prospective friends and donors to build endowment funds.

Endowment Horizons

Each year more organizations recognize the need to initiate an endowment program, only to discover what a formidable task it is. More institutions with endowments in place realize the necessity of increasing those funds, only to experience the difficulty of reinvigorating tired volunteers and an old plan.

Now, we can assist with both challenges. Endowment Horizons offers specialist services to assist non-profit organizations in developing their complete financial potential through endowments.

Our effective, proven process presented by Endowment Horizons, Inc. through years of endowment development work, is based upon a revolutionary principle: appeal first to the primary interests of potential donors and families. Using established guidelines and well-tested materials, we work closely with client institutions to not only develop substantial long-range financial commitments but also funding for current budgets and support for special projects.

The Bridge Builder

An old man, going a lone highway,

Came at the evening, cold and gray,

To a chasm, vast and deep and wide,

Through which was flowing a sullen tide,

The old man crossed in the twilight dim;

Te sullen stream had no fears for him,

But he turned when safe on the other side

And built a bridge to span the tide.

“Old man,” said a fellow pilgrim near,

“You are wasting your strength with building here;

Your journey will end with the ending day;

You never again must pass this way;

You have crossed the chasm, deep and wide –

Why build you the bridge at the eventide?”

The builder lifted his old gray head:

“Good friend, in the path I have come,” he said,

“There followeth after me today

A youth whose feet must pass this way.

This chasm that has been naught to me

To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be.

He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;

Good friend, I am building the bridge for him.”
